Hello All! I am starting this blog to kind of document my triumphs and failures as I get into the world of seamstressing and cosplay. I've been sewing since I was 8 years old. I started out hand sewing clothes for my dolls from scraps of old clothes. I've been making clothing on and off since. I recently decided to seriously pursue harder clothing and accessories. RenFaire Time!

First up, undergarments. I'm making a shift for my daughter and the corset shift and bloomers for myself. Unfortunately, there's a metric ton of gathering involved so it's a bit of a pain. The pattern I'm using is Simplicity 2890 from the Museum Curator Collection.
