My son is going to be Blackbeard the Pirate in a school event. Instaed of buying a costume, I decided to break out an old pattern I haven't gotten to use. Simplicity 0527 is the Pirates of the Caribbean children's sizes (discontinued ).
The costume will consist of a jacket, shirt, vest, pants and boot covers
I changed the pattern here and there to make it a bit more like the pictures of Blackbeard himself. We ran out of time before the hat was completed, but he's decided that he wants this tobe his Halloween costume so I'll revisit that.
